Projects, clients, people, work types, deal types and staffing. Time entry validates against these, so a project that is not here cannot be selected.
Records are deactivated, never deleted — a project with time booked against it must stay resolvable or historical weeks become unreadable.
A week range, not a date range — the week is the unit of submission, so an arbitrary range would slice weeks in half and produce partial weeks that look complete.

Actual and projected hours are at different grains — actuals per project-day, a projection per project-week — so they are separate sheets rather than one wide one.
Every template is both an import and an export format, in the same shape. That is what makes a manual sync a procedure rather than guesswork: export current state, edit it against the other system, import it back.
Upload → check the dry run → commit. Nothing is written until you confirm, and if any row fails the whole import is refused — a half-applied import leaves you unable to tell what landed.
